In 2025, after a heated discussion and disagreement with her former manager, Sheila Whitaker, she seized the opportunity to rekindle her passion and achieve everything she had set out to do. She was about to be exposed for the same reason that had caused the initial conflict with her former manager, but she used the momentum of the change to turn the situation of disagreement to her advantage.
During her long absence from the artistic scene, which coincided with the release of her first project, entitled “Ayiti” with the group Zile in January 2025, Anie Alerte made a triumphant return to the Haitian music scene. Following a scandal that erupted that same year, involving her former manager and apparently compromising her earnings and productions, the artist chose to reorganize herself and gain a greater awareness of the context of her professional relationships. In this context, several elements inspire confidence, such as the exclusive interview she gave in November 2024, in which she reiterated that the history associated with her name cannot be erased, despite the negative consequences related to her financial problems: this event marked a turning point that led her to join the group “Zile” as a lead singer.
Following this decision, she opened herself to new artistic horizons, announcing with “Byenvini sou Zile a” an important invitation to the public to follow her artistic development and evolution through the group’s official YouTube channel.
She and her band appeared in the first official video titled “Ayiti,” released on January 12, 2025. Shortly after, in April 2025, she released “Trayizon,” which currently has 5.2 million views on YouTube. The meaning of the song is encapsulated in a proverb that says: “If you touch the handle, the weight is behind it.” Subsequently, in June 2025, their first album was released, titled “Vwayaj”.
That year’s album was a collection of songs from the entire body of work produced that year, including a total of twelve songs: “Leave Me Alone, Pa Enkyete w, Difisil, Denye Premye (feat. Toby Anbake), Lavi, Damou Ankò (feat. Antonny Drew), Jistis Pou Mwen (feat. Misty Jean), Libere, Nostalji, Trayizon, Manman and Pou Anbasadè yo.”
The album was officially released on Apple Music in June 2025, reaching the number one spot on the most streamed albums chart. On iTunes, it reached second place, making the project one of the most listened to of the year, according to a report by GlobHaitianNews.
While Anie Alerte and Zile dominate streaming platforms, especially in Haiti, the United States, and Canada, their captivating rhythm and popularity are also confirmed in live performances. In July 2025, the group held extraordinary concerts in the United States (New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Boston) and Canada (Montreal). In August, the tour arrived in Haiti. For eight consecutive days, fans in the cities of Cap-Haïtien, Ouanaminthe, Port-Salut, Jacmel, Les Cayes, Jérémie, and Trou-du-Nord danced to the artist’s music, cheering her on with the emblematic slogan: “Zile, her homeland.”
The singer was also the guest of honor of Her Majesty the Queen of Savalou, in Benin, in Gbaguidi, from September to December. During her stay, she held thirty successful concerts. She is currently working in Haiti to return to the music scene stronger than ever. She ended 2025 in style, with a highly anticipated performance on December 31st.
From fruitful collaborations
In the artistic landscape of that musical genre, missing the opportunity to collaborate with Anie Alerte in 2025, precisely at the peak of her talent, would have been an unforgivable mistake. Roody Roodboy and Antonny Drew, with whom she had toured in Haiti, understood this perfectly. Her collaboration with Roody Roodboy on the song “Apiye” began on August 29, 2025. The song’s video quickly reached an impressive 2.7 million views on YouTube and achieved similar success on Tik Tok.
Anie Alerte rose to prominence following a blunt and ill-timed criticism from singer Darline Desca, who, while acknowledging Alerte’s talent and artistic potential, expressed a negative opinion. This, however, did not stop her: subsequently, the singer collaborated with Guadeloupean singer Antonny Drew. In November, she also released the successful single “Parle-moi,” which now has over 847,000 views on YouTube.
Beyond her artistic career, Anie Alerte is an active ambassador, committed to promoting local products and maintaining a deep connection with Haiti. This aspect was particularly evident during the launch of Zile Boutik in North Miami Beach, an initiative that also provided her with the opportunity to increase her visibility.
Anie Alerte, 33 years old, is the mother of two children: a biological daughter, Loulou, and an adopted one, whose name is not revealed for privacy reasons. In 2008, she placed second in the Digicel Stars competition. In 2009, she won the Podium Écoliers competition in Haiti. She later distinguished herself in Guadeloupe, winning first prize in the Défi lycéens competition in 2010.
Originally from Cap-Haïtien, she shares the stage with legends such as Émeline Michel and Yole Dérose. Before Zile, her personal discography included the songs Pi Bon Zanmi, Ou Pa t Janm Renmen m, Kite Yo, and Mal. These are in addition to numerous collaborations, including Se Paske m Renmen w and Se Ou l Ye with Troubleboy, Come Back with Jim Rama, Ase with Pedro Force, Pa Kriye with Paul Beaubrun, Pi Lwen Ke l’Orizon with Blaze One, and Kenbem with Shedly Abraham. She then collaborated on the titles Pete Fyèl Mwen by Harmonic, Mizik Sa by Klass and Mr Pass and Twòp Pou Mwen by Scandy.
